Deanna grew up in the small town of Smithville before moving to St. Catharines in 2021. Deanna grew up participating in many sports such as competitive cheerleading, softball, and soccer. Deanna’s love of playing sports and wanting to aid people in their recoveries of injuries prompted her to continue her education at Niagara College in the Occupational Therapist Assistant & Physiotherapist Assistant program. During her placements, Deanna discovered her special interest in assistive devices and continues to be an advocate for proper maintenance and education of assistive devices.

At the clinic, Deanna is often found at the front desk helping patients to understand what rehabilitation therapy is and how it can help! Deanna uses her background from the rehabilitation field to help educate patients about each therapy, she is always happy to help guide you in the right direction on what treatment would be best for you! She understands that seeking out help can be intimidating and is here to help along every step of the way.

Outside of NHRC Deanna can be found enjoying a good movie and a bowl of popcorn at local movie theaters. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, including her cat named Mipha. Deanna is always on the lookout for new and exciting board games to play at home, if you have any recommendations let her know!
