John is a graduate of the Assistant Physiotherapy program at Humber College and previously completed a diploma in Recreation and Leisure Services at Niagara College.
During his academic career, John volunteered his time serving on the Board of Directors for a Niagara-area youth centre, where he contributed to the development of policies and procedures, including anti-bullying initiatives. These policies were later published and adopted by other organizations.
Following graduation, John spent over two decades working in an orthopedic physiotherapy clinic, followed by four years providing home-based rehabilitation services. He has extensive experience working with patients of all ages and a wide range of conditions, from minor sprains, joint replacements, to stroke recovery, and motor vehicle accident–related injuries.
Outside of his professional career, John has devoted much of the past decade to supporting his children in their sports and recreational endeavors. With more personal time now available, he enjoys playing golf and avidly following his favorite sports teams, the Maple Leafs, Cowboys, and Blue Jays, hoping to witness just one more championship season.
John also enjoys researching family ancestry and watching history documentaries when not spending quality time with his wife, Jen, and their children, Vedder, Peyton, and Hudson.
