Daniela Jenkins, known as Dani, is a dedicated and certified personal trainer at our facility. She graduated from Sheridan College in 2024 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) in Kinesiology and Health Promotion. Throughout her academic journey, Dani played for Sheridan’s Women’s Soccer Team for all four years of her
undergrad, demonstrating her commitment to teamwork and athletic excellence.
Dani’s professional experience is enriched by her internship experience at Sheridan’s Exercise Intervention and Research Center (2021-2022) and Ridley College (2023). As well as her previous internship experience at the Niagara Health and Rehab Center in
the spring/summer of 2022. These opportunities allowed her to work with athletes from diverse sporting backgrounds, including volleyball, soccer, and hockey, further honing her expertise in athlete development. Certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Dani brings a wealth of practical experience in exercise and
resistance training, drawing from her background as a college athlete in soccer and powerlifting. She was instrumental in re-starting and managing Sheridan’s powerlifting club, where she discovered a deep passion for coaching and empowering athletes to
achieve their strength and performance goals.
At NHRC, Dani is committed to helping clients of all levels and backgrounds enhance their fitness, build strength, and achieve their personal best, using her extensive knowledge and experience in athletic training and personal fitness.
In her free time, Dani enjoys going to the gym/training, walking her dog (Nelly), playing board games (ie. catan fanatic), and staying up to date with the newest Marvel movies and shows.
