Emily completed her Bachelor of Science in the Physical Education (Honours) program at Brock University. She pursued education further at McMaster University while earning her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.
Emily works with her patients to create meaningful goals and curates a treatment plan specific to each patient. She believes in delivering care that is patient specific and evidence based. Emily uses a combination of hands on therapy, joint mobilizations, acupuncture, modalities and therapeutic exercise prescription. She also prioritizes patient education and promotes self efficacy so patients can take an active role in their own recovery management.
Emily thrives with the challenges of neurological conditions and spinal nerve damage. Additionally she is very well equipped to manage sports related injuries as she is very active herself.
Emily has a special passion for gymnastics and cheerleading from growing up in the sport, to a long
history in coaching.
