Morgan completed her undergraduate degree in 2015 at the University of Western Ontario, earning a Bachelor of Arts Honors Specialization in Kinesiology.
Throughout her studies at Western, Morgan developed her interest in physiotherapy and volunteered as a physiotherapy assistant at the Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic on campus to help rehabilitate student and local athletes. During this time she also volunteered with the special needs population through Participaction House.
In 2016, Morgan moved to Scotland to complete her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at Robert Gordon University. Throughout her training, Morgan completed placements dealing with a variety of conditions including musculoskeletal injuries, orthopaedic rehabilitation, pediatrics, neurological maintenance and recovery, as well as elderly rehab.
Upon graduating in 2018, Morgan stayed in Scotland to work as a physiotherapist assessing and rehabilitating seniors.
Since returning from Scotland in 2018, Morgan has worked in clinics in the Niagara and Hamilton region.
While practicing in Ontario, Morgan has worked with a variety of populations, including acute, chronic and overuse injuries, MVA and WSIB claims. To further supplement her professional development and knowledge base, Morgan has attended courses focusing on concussion, exercise prescription, patterns of pain, and an APTEI course on lumbo-sacral pain.
Morgan has a passion to help others, and through building a repertoire with her patients, aspires to empower you in your recovery, help you return to your pre-injury activities, and reach your goals!
